The Cutlers Hall, Sheffield

Cutler’s Hall Wedding Photography

Think urban, think grand. The Cutler’s Hall is slap bang in the centre of Sheffield opposite the cathedral. It was built in the 19th century to show off the wealth of the city’s cutlery industry and the grand hall still impresses today. It’s staircase is famous for wedding photography, and there are plenty more wedding photography opportunities at iconic locations nearby including the winter gardens.

Remember these two from their pre-wedding shoot in Sheffield a few weeks ago? Cutler’s Hall is a spectacular Victorian palace right in the heart of Sheffield, built to showcase the wealth of the Cutlery industry in steel city at the end of the 19th Century. Valentina and Sam were joined by Sam’s family and friends from Scotland and Valentina’s family and friends from Italy, and they had a fabulous wedding. True city dwellers, the wedding would not have been complete without a stroll through Sheffield City Centre and, of course, a stop of in Starbucks for a picture at their favourite table. Big thank you to the guy who gave up his seat so we could get the shot!

A very cool best man’s speech competently delivered without notes by best man Chris. The other good looking guy on the right in the bottom two pictures is Marco – the official Maid of Honour. (please don’t ask – I don’t know).

When we arrived, the water fountains were turned off. Then, we were spotted by a council official who, sensing our disappointment turned them on – just for us! Hats off to Sheffield City Council.

My favourite – just love the colours in Valentina’s hair, dress and bouquet with the stone. It just all comes together . . .
