Losehill House Wedding Photography
Losehill House is a (relatively) recently renovated country hotel, situated in the Hope Valley in Hope, not far from the small town of Castleton. A haven for walkers and outdoor types, the hotel also has a splendid restaurant which doubles up very nicely for civil wedding ceremonies. The room itself is great for wedding photography because it is surrounded on two sides by large windows, giving the room a light and airy feel.
Outside, the hotel has lawns and gardens which, on a fine day are great for a drinks reception and photographs, but best of all it has the stunning background of the Peak District fells.

Claire and Neil are both outdoor pursuits instructors, and where better than to get married than Losehill House, right in the centre of the peak district hills, and a great location for wedding photography. Rumour had it that some of the guests had donned their walking boots and hiked along the Losehill ridge before the ceremony. The weather was perfect with wall to wall blue skies and glorious sunshine.
Here Neil tries to convince the Registrar that he really is who he says he is:

We struggled to find good light for the Bride and Groom session, but a short walk down the lane took us to this pretty wooded area. Perfect.

Charlotte and Tobias were married at Losehill House on a fine day in March. Our first wedding of the year and what a great start to our wedding photography season! Big thanks to Charlotte and Tobias and their family and friends for having us at their wedding. Fabulous Day, and Tobias, we will never forget your Groom’s speech!
