Lyme Hall is possibly best known for its role in the 1995 BBC production of Pride and Prejudice as the setting where Elizabeth meets Darcy. To be fair, it has quite a lot of other things going for it and is a great place to visit in summer when the gardens are looking their best.
Emily and Tony got married at At St Mary’s Church in Disley, then held their reception in the grounds of Lyme Park. The beautiful church and wonderful National Trust property provided a fabulous backdrop for the wedding photographs. Emily has a special connection with Lyme Park as she is the Head Warden there.
