One advantage of digital photography is that you can easily have any image you like supplied in either colour or black and white (or both!).  Personally, I love black and white pictures.  It's not everyone's taste of course, but I think that some images just seem to work better.

What sets black and white photography apart from the range of other special effects that are possible with digital techniques is its timeless quality.  Black and white photography has never been out of fashion and in years to come when you look back at your wedding photographs, they will still look fresh.

A great idea is to  mix in some black and white images amongst the colour photographs in your album.
